Clinton College Student Emergency Assistance Fund

March 19, 2020

Dear Clinton College Community,

There is no higher priority than the safety of our students, faculty, and staff. Considering the challenges presented by the Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, Clinton College is taking significant steps to respond to our current reality and protect our campus community—including transitioning to a virtual instruction environment through the end of the academic year.

We believe these actions are a necessary safeguard, however we also recognize that many of our students will experience financial hardships during this difficult and uncertain public health concern.

We are asking alumni and friends to support our students by giving to the Student Emergency Assistance Fund. Your contribution will directly benefit Clinton students and provide relief for financial hardships such as:

  • Housing and food insecurity
  • Travel expenses related to returning home
  • Technology needs to ensure students can access virtual learning
  • Other unforeseen financial challenges

In any time of crisis, the Clinton community responds with grace and generosity. I am confident that now will be no different and that with your help we can protect and support the educational and financial needs of our students.

Yours Truly,

Lester A. McCorn, D. Min

President
