ROCK HILL, SC, FEBRUARY 19, 2020 – As Clinton College honors the institution’s 126 years of higher education on Founders’ Day next month, the college will also look towards the future by unveiling a new, highly anticipated vision for the Rock Hill campus.
A short presentation will be shown during the Founder’s Day program inside J.W. Martin Gymnasium at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 13, 2020. The new plans focus on the college’s goal of student success with additional academic programs and details the expansion of campus over the next eight years.
During the program, Benedict College President Dr. Roslyn Clark Artis will also deliver a powerful message under this year’s theme, “The New Clinton: Building the Next Generation of Leaders.”

She graduated from Vanderbilt University, where she earned a Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership and Policy. She also holds a Juris Doctorate from West Virginia University College of Law, and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from sister HBCU, West Virginia State University.
