On May 16th, JPMorgan Chase, through its Advancing Black Pathways initiative, is sponsoring a virtual graduation to celebrate the achievements of more than 27,000 HBCU students from 78 schools. During the event, HBCUs will raise funds to support students because research shows they must often overcome significant socioeconomic challenges to complete bachelor’s degrees. The Clinton College class of 2020 will be honored virtually by President Barack Obama, along with other special guests that include comedian and actor Kevin Hart, Thasundra Brown Duckett, Wyclef Jean, Mellody Hobson, Omari Hardwick, and many more.
