The Clinton College family celebrates the historic confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson. Justice Jackson has had a distinguished career as a jurist and joins the bench as one of the most accomplished jurists in history to join the SCOTUS. She becomes the first African American woman ever appointed to the highest court in the nation. This achievement is an inspiration to all Americans, especially Black women who have been overwhelmingly underrepresented despite being eminently qualified. Justice Brown Jackson is a sterling inspiration and example of hard work, a great education, a strong upbringing by HBCU graduates, and a commitment to fairness and justice for all.
Congratulations, Justice Kentanji Brown Jackson.
