Dr. McCorn's Statement on the 20th Anniversary of 9/11
Today we pause to remember and reflect on the 20th Anniversary of September 11, 2001. This was a day that changed the world. Many of us vividly remember where we were when we received the news and watched the images of the twin towers of the World Trade Center of New York City consumed with fire and smoke. Those images of mass destruction, the crash in Pennsylvania along with the damage to the Pentagon in D.C., remind us of the fragility of human existence and the tragedy of hatred. We honor all of those who lost lives and the valiant efforts of all of the first responders.
