Transfer and Readmission

First-Year International Admission Requirements
To apply, applicants must submit ALL documents before their application is considered complete and ready for review.
Required Application Documents:
- Official Transcripts (Graduate of a foreign/non-U.S. High School): Applicants who attended high schools outside of the United States must have their transcripts evaluated via World Education Services.
- Official Transcripts (Graduate of a U.S. High School): Applicants who have attended high school in the United States must submit official copies of their high school transcripts. Transcripts must be sent directly from the applicant’s high school through a secure online service (Parchment, Naviance, National Student Clearinghouse, eScript, etc) or via mail in a sealed envelope to:

- Certificate of Finance: Applicants must demonstrate they have sufficient funds to pay for tuition costs and living expenses for at least 1 year at Clinton College. Applicants living off-campus will need to provide their monthly rental amounts. To meet this requirement, applicants must submit a bank statement, certificate of deposit, scholarship award letter, or a combination of the three. **An Affidavit of Support needs to be attached to any statement that is not in the applicant’s name. Please note that both the Affidavit of Support and any necessary financial statements must be translated into English.**
- Copy of Passport ID Page: A clear photocopy of your passport should be submitted directly to the Office of Admissions at admissions@clintoncollege.edu.
Clinton College does not offer financial aid for international students. I-20 form (Certificate of Eligibility is not issued until the applicant has been accepted by the Office of Admissions and submitted a financial statement indicating how fees will be paid while attending Clinton College.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security rules governing non-immigrant “F-1” foreign students require that all persons in this category pursue a full course of study. This means that students must register for a minimum of twelve (12) credit hours. Any modification of this requirement that results in a course load of less than this minimum must be authorized by the Registrar. Failure to observe these requirements will cause students to be ineligible to receive the I-20 form to support their non-immigrant status.
Prior to admission, all international students must furnish a copy of his/her background record even if a criminal history does not exist.
